Sydney
Instructor, Mentor
Sydney has called Eastern Europe, South Asia, and Western Asia home for 15 years, soaking in the rhythms, languages, and everyday life of each culture. Her multicultural experience is not just a part of her background, but a journey that has shaped her perspective and approach to life. She has spent many years serving global teams by training workers, helping to plant and strengthen churches, and leading community projects in different contexts. With a PhD in Applied Theology focused on global missions, Sydney has a passion for equipping students to serve with both confidence and cultural sensitivity—preparing the next generation to step into God’s calling and make a lasting impact wherever they go.
Off the training clock, Sydney can be found treating coffee as a basic human right, wandering through Europe like the main character in a travel magazine, or deep into true-crime podcasts—because nothing complements cross-cultural work quite like the quiet confidence that she could, in fact, crack a cold case.
